Inference hooks

Inference hooks let a company check every prompt before Claude sees it. On Claude Enterprise, each governed prompt in claude.ai, Cowork and Claude Code is sent first to a server the company runs, which allows or blocks it, for example to stop customer data or source code from leaving. They are in beta. The usual rollout is "shadow mode" first, which logs what would have been blocked without blocking anything, so you can tune the rules before they affect anyone's work.
