Compliance API

The Compliance API gives a company's security and legal tools programmatic access to how Claude is used: activity logs, chats, files and projects, plus the ability to delete specific data. It is available on Claude Enterprise only. Since August 2026 it also returns transcripts of Cowork and Claude Code sessions that run on employees' own computers. Teams use it to feed a SIEM, run eDiscovery, or enforce retention rules without exporting data by hand.
